About Us

We are, for the most part, not a group of professionals. (I'll have to make some kind of snappy update to that because, now one of us is!)  What we are  is a
group of individuals who are recovering from the chains of chemical addiction.
 We have seen through the years what works, and more importantly, what
doesn't work. We work in the solution: we do not dwell in the problem. We do not believe that girlfriends, children, jobs, or material things can get you to stay clean.  We believe there is one Higher Power, Jesus Christ.

Mission Statement

Sober by Grace is a place where broken people can find life change through
the teachings of Jesus Christ.  We provide a safe, clean, sober, nurturing
environment for our residents.  Our mission is to help them regain their
dignity, familial relationships, and employment while learning how to live a
sober lifestyle via a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Meet the Directors

Bryce Hudnall, Director of Operations: Recovered from alcohol, cocaine, and a laundry list of character defects. Sobriety date, 12/6/06. Currently studying to become a Board Certified Faith Based Clinical Counselor. Over 100 college credits, with focus on Rehab Science, Non Profit Management, and History. Avid Longhorn and Cowboys fan. Genealogy nut. Jesus freak.

Jennifer Hudnall, Director of Counseling Services, Licensed Professional Counselor Intern (Supervisor: Ken Johnson[a.k.a. McKinley Johnson], Ph. D., Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor): Recovered from alcohol, and a myriad of life issues. Sobriety date, 03/30/91. Undergrad in Vocational Rehab Counseling. Masters in Professional counseling, and also in School Counseling. Currently Pursing a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. Yorkie lover. Scrapbooker. Loves to travel. Sandy beaches and clear water are the home of serenity. Loves God with all her heart.

Michael Bolton, Nutritional Advisor: Michael and his wife are not directors, but certainly part of what we do here. Available for one on one, or family nutritional consulting, at no extra charge.
